SCAM Alert - The United Youth Fitness Scholarship
The United Youth Fitness Scholarship that is being advertised on the Teen Link (September 30th).
Apparently the scholarship is asking students for a cell phone number when you apply.
The student is then sent an "access code". If you enter this "access code" you will then be billed $9.99 per month.
Please DO NOT COMPLETE THIS SCHOLARSHIP.

Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA)
Attention Seniors:
Today is the day! Applications for Bright Futures (FFAA) begins December 1st . The FFAA (Florida Financial Aid App) is different from the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You DO NOT need your tax returns for Bright Futures! Remember, the Florida Financial Aid Application IS the Bright Futures application. You can estimate your GPA when you complete the FFAA! Please visit FACTS.org for a direct link to the application. Should you have any questions, please visit your Guidance Counselor.
On a final note: In the past, the Bright Futures application could only be completed using Internet Explorer. If you have a Mac, you may need to use a PC instead to file your application. Don't forget that you are welcome to use the computers in the Guidance Office as well as the Library. Best of luck!
