Requirements
The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Florida is requesting scholarship applications from high school students in Broward County. The scholarship is $1,000 a year for tuition and books for not more than four consecutive years. Awardees must maintain a B (2.8) average or higher during their course of study. The annual deadline for application is April 15th and the award is in the month of May.
- Must be a resident of Broward County and a graduate of any High School in the County
- Graduated from high school with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Show proof of admission to a four-year college
- Submit two letters of reference, one from the counselor of the school from which the applicant graduated, and the other from a clergy or official of the court. Letters must be mailed along with the application.
- Submit a picture with the application
- Complete and submit the formal application provided in Section B to the address stated.
