Good afternoon,
Florida State University is pleased to present the application for the Service Scholar Program. The Service Scholar Program recognizes select incoming students with an outstanding record of community service and leadership, and who want to continue that commitment at FSU. The Program benefits include a scholarship valued at $2,400 per year for up to four years, participation in a service-learning academic curriculum, exposure to a diverse group of individuals and social issues, and support by faculty and staff.
An important part of continuing the success of this extraordinary Program is recruiting excellent incoming students. Therefore, the Center for Leadership and Social Change is making tremendous efforts to promote this opportunity to all incoming FSU freshmen or interested high school juniors and seniors, but we need your help! Please share this information with any students who have an exceptional record of community service and a desire to continue to learn through service and leadership.
For more information about the benefits, requirements, and application process please visit the Center for Leadership and Social Change online at http://thecenter.fsu.edu/servicescholars. Complete applications and recommendation forms must be submitted electronically by 5:00 PM EST on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you for your help,
