East Sunrise Residents Association Book Scholarship 2015

East Sunrise Residents Association is accepting applications from East Sunrise resident for a book scholarship.  The scholarships will be awarded on Thursday May 21, 2015.

To be considered for our scholarships an applicant must:

• Be an East Sunrise resident with a mailing address, East of Pine Island Road.
• Have a Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better (based on 4.0 grade scale).
• Be a graduating High School Senior accepted by an accredited College/University.
• Provide two letters of recommendation.
• Provide an official copy of your High School transcript.
• Present a copy of your college acceptance letter prior to receipt of the scholarship award.
• Write a 300 word essay on a topic of our choosing.
  

The following information must be completed and postmarked on or before Friday    April 10th, 2015.

• The completed Application Form (pages 3-6).
• (YOU MUST PROVIDE SIGNATURE OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.)
• 300 Word Essay (must be typed).
• Official copy of your High School.
• Two letters of recommendation (must be from a teacher, professor, academic advisor, employer, or leader of a church or community organization).
• A copy of your college acceptance letter.

To be considered, the completed application and any additional materials must be postmarked no later than Friday April 10th, 2015
