The Broward Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association announces its Annual Scholarship for students pursuing a Culinary/Hospitality Career! Please share the following information with your Brace Advisors, ProStart and Hospitality Instructors, and most of all your students.
I have also attached this as a.pdf if you are able to share it in hard copy. Please encourage all Seniors who are interested in a Culinary/Hospitality Career to apply.

FRLA Broward Hospitality Scholarship 2015
The Broward Chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is offering scholarship to Broward County High School Seniors pursuing a Hospitality Career. Scholarship awards will be in amounts of $500, $1,000 and $2,000 based on student's achievements and essay portion of application. Students must graduate in 2015 and plan to pursue a career in the hospitality and tourism industry. A letter of acceptance from chosen college or university is required to receive the award.
Both ProStart and HTMP/LMP students are eligible to apply. Winners will be notified of award status by Tuesday, March 13, 2015.
Winners will be recognized at the 6th Annual Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Broward Chapter Excellence in Education Awards Dinner on April 8, 2015, at the Diplomat Resort. The Winners must be present to receive their award. The Winners and two parents/guardians will be our complimentary guests for the evening.
Eligible students must be senior in an eligible program and must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
DEADLINE: Friday, March 6, 2015, NOON. Your application, must be received by this date and time. Your scholarship, if awarded, will be paid out upon receipt of a letter of acceptance from chosen college or university. You have one year from the date of award to claim your scholarship dollars.
