Eligibility Criteria:
Seniors; 3.0 minimum cumulative Grade Point Average; must be within the top
30% of senior class; Official transcript; Letter of acceptance into an accredited
pre-engineering, engineering or engineering technology program from a postsecondary
institution that meets the criteria listed below; The institution hosts a
recognized ASHRAE student branch www.ashrae.org/students/page/702, The
program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and
Technology (ABET) http://www.abet.org/ or the Partnership for Air-Conditioning,
Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA) www.pahrahvacr.org in the USA,
The program is accredited by an equivalent agency outside the USA that is part of
The Washington or Sydney Accord http://www.washingtonaccord.org/ or has a signed
Memorandum of Understanding with ABET http://www.abet.org/error.aspx?id=192 l;
Three letters of recommendation: one from an instructor or faculty advisor, a
current or past employer, and another character reference.
