Hello Everyone,
McCune Scholarship: C. N. McCune Foundation Trust scholarships are awarded to students who are residents of Broward County (the residency requirement is waived for eligible relatives of C. N. McCune) with financial need.  Last year they awarded new scholarships to 25 Broward high school students while another 25 previous recipients had their scholarship renewed.

Eligibility:
Graduates of a Broward County high school (except for McCune relatives)
Demonstrate financial need.
Upper third of their class (or have a minimum 3.0 GPA).
Possess high leadership, and who participate in community service activities.
Preference is given to students who choose a public community college for the first two years.

Recent tax returns

Award:  Varies (scholarships vary each year depending upon available funds and number of qualified applicants).

Deadline:  April 15, 2012 (RECEIVED BY)

Although the scholarship is a gift, the Donor has requested that, where possible, the recipient should feel ethically obligated to return funds to the Foundation without interest at some future date, so that other students may continue to benefit from the scholarship.
